“Spring into Gardening” Workshop |
The Master Gardeners, Penn State Extension, Luzerne County will host
the “Spring into Gardening” Workshop, from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm at the
Technology Center on the Penn State Lehman Campus. The workshop is
open to the public. This will be an all-day workshop with sessions
on sustainable landscapes, gardening with children, raised bed
gardening, ground covers, container gardening, pesticides, pruning,
and butterflies/pollinators. Paul Epsom, owner of Greystone Gardens,
and correspondent to PBS’s Victory Garden and Channel 16’s Home and
Back Yard, will be keynote speaker. A plant sale and flea market
will be held on premise, and Master Gardeners will be available at
the information table to answer your personal gardening questions.
