Hypertufa Classes - New Winter Classes
Welcome to our 2014 schedule of Hypertufa classes. We will be scheduling classes in January and February, 2014 to be held in our heated greenhouse. Regular classes will also be scheduled outdoors during the 2014 gardening season. We anticipate another fun year! Please note that during the gardening season Hypertufa I and Hypertufa II are sometimes offered on the same day. We do this because many of our students come a distance. You may sign up for one or both. If you choose to attend both please bring a picnic lunch. In addition please be aware that Hypertufa 1 is required before you may register for Hypertufa 2 or a Face Workshop.
Ø The troughs are made of a special concrete mixture that makes them lighter weight, more natural looking and able to winter outside.
Ø Everyone will learn the theory and practical tips of trough making and will then construct a trough of their own.
Ø The cost of the workshop is $15.
Ø Advance registration is required. This class is limited to 25 people in the summer and 15 people in the winter.
