Perennial Flower ~ Part Shade or Shade ~ 22 x 50" ~ late summer ~ bluish-lavender flowers with whitish petal margins on 18-28" scapes ~ a dense, medium-sized mound of slug resistant bright blue-green leaves ~  ATTRACTS HUMMINGBIRDS ~ walnut resistant ~ a moisture lover, but still drought tolerant 

Optimal Care:
Seed heads may be removed to improve appearance.  However, the seeds do provide food for birds and may be left.  Cut foliage to ground after killing frost or in the early spring.
