Pruning Seminar Herb Johns Herb will discuss and demonstrate different shrubs that require pruning in the spring and the timing of the pruning. A 30 minute discussion followed by a 1 hour garden walk and demonstration.
Perennials for Shade and Part Shade The New and the Tried and True Kay Johns Come learn about new perennials to use to add pizzazz to your gardens. We will focus on newer introductions as well as the old standbys that do well in a shade or part shade situation. An hour talk and demonstration followed by a garden tour to view plants.
Perennials for Sun and Part Sun The New and the Tried and True Kay Johns Brighten up your sunny gardens with some of the newer perennials. We will also look at a lot of the old favorites.An hour talk and demonstration followed by a garden tour to view plants.

Shrubs for Sun and Part Sun The New and the Tried and True Herb Johns There are many new cultivars of shrubs available to include in your sunny landscape. In addition we will look at shrubs that have proven to be worthy garden specimens for the sun. An hour talk and demonstration followed by a garden tour to view plants.

Plant Seminar Information Ø Reservations are required. Ø The cost is $10 but a $10 gift certificate will be given the day of the seminar. Ø Seminars are limited to 40 people. Ø Special arrangements and times are available for groups. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mother’s Day Tours We will be offering guided tours of our gardens on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 9, 2010 at: 11 A.M. 1 P.M. 3 P.M. Our two acres of gardens have hundreds of unusual perennials, shrubs and trees. There is no charge, but registration is required.
